DataToRank ("we", "us") operates the website datatorank.com and the related API service. Contact: [email protected].

2. Data we collect

• Email address — collected at purchase via Lemon Squeezy. Used to deliver your API key and send service emails.
• API key usage data — number of API calls made, stored server-side to enforce plan limits.
• Log data — IP addresses and request timestamps for security and abuse prevention. Retained for 30 days.
• Cookies — a single localStorage entry for language preference and GDPR consent. No third-party tracking cookies.

3. How we use your data

• Deliver the API key and service notifications (legal basis: contract performance)
• Enforce plan limits and prevent abuse (legal basis: legitimate interest)
• Comply with legal obligations

4. Payment processor

Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy (a Merchant of Record). They collect your payment information and billing details. We never receive or store credit card data. See Lemon Squeezy Privacy Policy.

5. Data retention

Email addresses and purchase records are kept for the duration of your subscription plus 2 years for accounting purposes. Log data is purged after 30 days. You may request deletion at any time.

6. Your rights (GDPR)

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or port your personal data. To exercise these rights, email [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority.

7. Data transfers

Your data may be processed outside the EU by our AI provider (Groq, USA). Processing is limited to the product content you submit via the API and does not include personal data unless you explicitly include it in your product descriptions.

8. Changes

We will notify you of material changes via the email address on your account.
